A “Biggest Loser contest was sponsored by Focus on Fitness, and published in the San Tan Sun News. Focus on Fitness selected two contestants during a pre-contest  casting call that had been advertised in the San tan Sun News.
A total of five weigh-in and measurements sessions were held. One at the beginning and every four weeks for the 4 month duration of the contest. The contestants were photographed and their progress was published each month in the San Tan Sun News.
Rose Marie Zimbelman was the winner of the competition losing the most inches.
Focus on Fitness expresses appreciation to the San Tan Sun News for the opportunity to publicize and track the transformations of Rose Marie and Kelly. Both contestants did a great job, and lost a combined total of 105 pounds with Rose Marie losing 53 ¾ total inches. Congratulations to Rose Marie!
